According to Yahoo News Houston Texans Head coach gave Andre Johnson the game ball. It seemed to be a little awkward because what happen during the game it was more than catching the ball. Andre Johnson had gotten into a fist fight with the Titans Corner Cortland Finnegan. This fight made this game look like a Hockey game. Coach Kubiak gave Andre the ball for catching the Ball 60 times for the 8th straight season. It just happen in a awkward time.
What do you think? I think the time was awkward because of the fight Andre got into earlier that night. But the coach did the right thing by giving Andre the ball showing him the organization appreciates what he has done for them. The Fight wasn’t even his Fault.
Do you blame Andre for his actions? I know that his actions are all in his hands. But there is a certain time when you get fed up I mean I would Cortland is known for being one of the dirtiest players in the league he was giving Andre cheap shots all night. I know It was wrong to do what he did but I don’t take anything from him I would have blown up too he told the refs about it and they would not stop him.
Does this put a bad name on Andre? I don’t think it should because Cortland deserved what he got. He is known for doing things like this that’s why I believe his fine should have been higher than what it was but both players got the same amount for the fine. Andre will continue to do what he does dominate on the football field.
I think that even though Andre got in that fight at the game that he really did deserve that game ball. He is a good player and by giving him that ball it just goes to show how much his team and coaches really appreciate what he's done for their team!
